Starbase 37 was a Federation facility in operation throughout most of the 24th century. In the first decade of the century, it was considered to be a top-notch facility, although by 2376, it had become rather run-down. The starbase's bar (known as The Admiral's Lounge in the 2300s, and as Galactic Barry's in the 2370s) was open to civilian freighter and transport pilots, who would often sell their services there.
