You are in game when you are running the game Neverwinter Nights on your computer. You are in Arelith when you are both in game and connected to one of the Arelith servers. Most Arelith players use the term in game to mean in Arelith, since the shared context is commonplace. Time passes more quickly in game than it does in real life. In character (IC) refers to actions, knowledge, events and other things that the imaginary character is aware about. Opposite to out of character (OOC).
