The Pitian silicon-based organism or just organism was a quasi-sentient, non-humanoid, silicon-based lifeform located in the Pitio mining planet 54 light years from Earth. The organism and all known members were over 5,000 years in age, most likely starting off at the size as a few silicone polymers. By the 25th century it had developed to a macroscopic level and had a very unique structure.
