Uitich'ick was a nezumi bushi who lived in a village on the edge of the Unicorn provinces, near the Lion border. The holdings of this area had been repeatedly attacked by Yugoro's Hordes, and eventually his own village was raided by the bandits under the command of Yugoro himself. To defend themselves one nezumi of his tribe cast Castle of Air while Uitich'ick escaped in hopes of finding aid on time against the bandits. He met a group of Rokugani samurai who willingly moved to the nezumi village and dispatched enough bandits to case the others to flee. The survivors told that Yugoro had stolen their most precious relic, an enchanted scroll which was given to them by a Unicorn daimyo in the 10th century.
