The Water Release: Mist Clone Technique is a D-ranked Bunshinjutsu that was created by an unknown shinobi from Fogugakure. This technique allows the user to creates intangible clones out of the water vapour around himself/herself. This type of clone is mainly used as a diversion while the user attacks. As these clones are intangible they are unable to attack, but any attack made on them will pass right through their bodies.
