Gary Potter is a former NASCAR driver. He competed in five Busch Series events in his career. Potter's debut came in 1982, when he competed at Darlington. Starting positions in the field of twenty-three are unknown, but Porter had an okay race and wound up with a solid 13th place finish. He wasn't too bad the rest of the year either, recording midpack runs of 20th at Charlotte and 16th at Rockingham.
