The New Sith Empire was a vast empire that unified the Outer Rim, formed in 2,000 BBY by Darth Ruin. This Empire is different from the previous Sith Empires as these Sith do not support the actions of villainous Sith like Naga Sadow, Exar Kun, or Darth Malak calling them barbarous and evil. This Reformed Sithism (as opposed to the formally practiced Orthodox Sithism) is a religion of relative peace, created by fifty former Jedi Knights led by the influential Jedi Master now turned Dark Lord, Darth Ruin.
