The Race::2002 Discount Auto Parts 200 was an ARCA RE/MAX Series event held at Track::Daytona International Speedway on February 10, 2002. It was the season opener. Bobby Gerhart, the master of Daytona, won yet another February classic when rain ended the race just past the halfway point. Gerhart had had the dominant car all race long, leading two-thirds of the race and beating Rick Carelli back to the final yellow. Eventual season champ Frank Kimmel was third.
