The Gang Zombie is an enemy in EarthBound Beginnings. It resembles a member of an organized crime syndicate, or a gang, hence the name. They can only be fought on their own and have powerful Smash hits. In the original Famicom release, the Gang Zombie battle sprite had bloody holes (most likely gunshot wounds) on its stomach. This was removed and replaced with a tie in later versions. Interestingly, the clay model contains both the tie and the blood. It also shows the clay model with its skin in a darker color than its in-game sprite.
