In the mirror universe, New Sydney Security was a law enforcement agency. It was responsible for the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance planets New Sydney and Sappora VII and was headed by Yeroff Fuchida. In 2375, New Sydney Security was contacted by Norvo Tigan who informed them that the Tigan Mining Consortium, run by his mother Yanas Tigan and brother Janel Tigan was involved in possible criminal activity. Working with the Klingon Defense Force, New Sydney Security raided the Tigan's pergium mining operation, killing Yanas and Janel when they allegedly used force against the security forces.
