Sun received a surveillance report while staying in a penthouse suite of a Los Angeles hotel in late 2007. The surveillance report included photographs of Benjamin Linus and Jack Shephard together. ("The Little Prince") The surveillance report was delivered by courier in a large envelope that also included a gun concealed in a box of chocolates. The sender of the surveillance report is not definitively known, but earlier Sun entered in league with Charles Widmore in a plot to kill Benjamin Linus. ("Because You Left")
