Eleionomaii (the Nymphs of Marshes) are one of the five type of Naiades (freshwater nymphs) the others are Limnades or Limnatides, (the Nymphs of Lakes) Pegaiai (Nymphs of Springs ), Krenaiai (the Nymphs of Fountains) and Potameides (the Nymphs of Rivers and Streams).
