Following a struggle against the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the former President and Vice President were killed by Dooku and his battle droids Boba saw this as a chance to run for President. After the election, Boba was declared President over Terra. He became a friend of both Shea Hann and Zen Twa, who thought he was different from other Hutts.
