Virgil Livengood is a former NASCAR driver from Mankato, MN. He competed in five Nextel Cup Series events in his career, earning one top-ten. Livengood's debut came in 1950, when he competed in the inaugural event at Darlington. Livengood started well, qualifying 6th, but faded to a 35th place finish in the race. Livengood's next three races came in 1953, when he finished a career-best 57th in points. That was largely thanks to two strong runs to start the year, finishing 11th at Richmond and a career-best 10th at Macon. However, Livengood ended his year last at Columbus following a crash.
