Whippet plants, or just Whippets, are plants that appear in the Super Mario Galaxy series, both games. You can spin them, and they will fly out and can break stuff or be used to defeat bosses and enemies. Whippets will fly back when flung, and when you get hit by the rebound, you will be knocked over (but will not take damage), and lose about 13 Star Bits , which will fly out all around you.
