The Norwegian Computers and Law Association/Norsk Forening for Jus og EDB (NCLA/NFJE) was established in 1980 and has since served as a professional and social meeting place for lawyers, technologists and others with an interest for computers and law in Norway. The association has it roots in the Norwegian Research Center for Computers and Law at the University of Oslo and the two organizations still co-operate closely.
