Lady Dame Arethea Hart, Countess Middlehill, was a Manticoran noblewoman and Elizabeth III's senior seneschal, responsible for or the planning and execution of all major state functions of the Crown. In June 1922 PD, she had to plan on very short notice the nearly simultaneous state visits of Havenite President Eloise Pritchart, Beowulfan Chairman Chyang Benton-Ramirez, Protector Benjamin Mayhew IX of Grayson, and Queen Berry I of Torch. At the same time she was also heavily involved in the planning of the royal wedding of Crown Prince Roger and Rivka Rosenfeld. (HH13)
