These are tribes of long-extinct animals come back to life. Laval and his friends go to help the Fire Tribes from being destroyed by the evil Ice Tribes. In the beginning, Chima was a battlefront of fire and ice. The Fire Tribes kept the eight Legend Beasts and guarded them from Sir Fangar. It is unknown if these tribes has a Legend Beast of their own.
