Frida Goodson was a fictional character featured on the popular 1980s sitcom The Golden Girls. She hosted a club meeting for her senior citizen friends (including Sophia Petrillo). They get together and send pictures of them to Willard Scott with a note saying that they're a hundred so that they can get into The Today Show.
