Mrs Tetlow was a customer in The Kabin who gave Mavis Riley a £5 note to pay for an item but only got change back for a pound. Mavis gave an excuse of being rushed off her feet but Mrs Tetlow said caustically that she’d never yet been in a shop that had made the mistake the other way round.
