A death convulsion was a distinct reaction that a Force-sensitive being felt through the Force when another being died. Examples of death convulsions occurred throughout galactic history. One of these examples was how Force Adepts felt when their masters died. Satele Shan, for instance, experienced a death convulsion upon her master's death at the hands of Malgus during a battle over Korriban. Years later, Aryn Leneer felt it upon the death of her own Master, Ven Zallow, to Malgus during the Sacking of Coruscant.
