The Gorgodonth Golem was an ancient Arithmian golem constructed by the arch-wizard Zervarithus thousands of years ago before the fall of the Arithmian Empire. The Gorgodonth golem was to be the ultimate war machine for the empire against its many enemies. Zervarithus bound four undead elemental spirits into the heart of the golem. The heart of the golem was actually a large crystal from the Red Star comet, which amplified the powers of the spirits trapped within and gave life to the golem.
