Yooboo and Celly Organa Pleasant once mistakenly believed Yovo was the secret identity of Yodatine. Yovo was first elected to the Senate in 796 BBY. In 782 BBY, Yovo cleared Yoda of falsified charges of corruption, discovering the charges to be a red herring created by the Slavers' Guild to distract the SBI and Jedi High Council while the Guild disposed of various Senators who had been working on passing a law to outlaw the slave trade of certain semisentient species. The following year, Yovo was crushed when the Senate Rotunda was damaged by an assault during the Tabponian Raid on Coruscant.
