Using the Gate of Souls in the Valley of Seers, she summoned countless monsters to invade Hyrule, allowing her to essentially overwhelm the Hyrulean Forces with sheer numbers. After joining with the Hyrulean Forces under Impa, Sheik, and Link, the White Sorceress, Lana informed them of the existence of the Gate of Souls. The Hyrulean Forces decided to put their search for missing Princess Zelda in order to close the Gate of Souls and defeat the Dark Forces.
