The Scroll of Eternal Feasting was a sacred document to Tellarite society. When the young Tellarite, Gann, described elements of the Bajoran faith as fairy tales during one of Keiko O'Brien's lessons on Deep Space 9 Keiko was quick to intercede, asking how Gann would feel if the other students were similarly disrespectful about the Scroll of Eternal Feasting.
