Defensetaker (守備の吸収 Shubi no Kyūshū, lit. Defense Drain in the Japanese version) is a skill in Fire Emblem Fates, it is gained through the Defensetaker item in Heirs of Fate 4. It allows the user to gain +2 Defense for every enemy that is killed on the map, however, they can only gain a maximum of +10 Defense from this skill, the extra Defense will slowly decrease every turn. It cannot be used with any other "taker" skills.
