The 1903 English Club Championship was awarded to the London Canadians. It was the first and only time they won the title in this form. The Canadians also claimed the English Ice Hockey League the following year. The Canadians defeated Princes Ice Hockey Club in the final, 8-4, to win the cup. After two 20 minute periods, the score was tied at four, but the Canadians poured in four unanswered goals in the 10 minute overtime period to take the cup.
