The Zap Eel is an enemy that is encountered in EarthBound in the Deep Darkness area. It is one of the weaker enemies in the area, but its thunder attacks (which may be an equivalent of PSI Thunder β) can be quite powerful. However, this attack can miss sometimes. It is a gray eel with red eyes. attacking twice in one turn. This move will deal about 100+ damage to the party member it hits, unless that party member is wearing the Franklin Badge, in which case the Thunder will be reflected back at the eel. It is weak against PSI Freeze.
