The lightcane was a specialized form of the basic lightsaber. It utilized the same technology, however a lightsaber's hilt could be hidden within the cane. The standard lightcane would usually be custom-built from saber components. Its main purpose was to conceal the hilt without any loss to the saber's functionality. One such user of a lightcane was the Aiki Jedi Riisu Dakari.
