Burton Williams (August 30, 1909, in Okemah, Oklahoma – February 12, 1981) was a professional ice hockey defenceman who played three seasons in the National Hockey League for the Detroit Red Wings, the St. Louis Eagles and the Boston Bruins. He played in the American Hockey Association (AHA) from 1927 to 1933. His rights were purchased twice by NHL teams, but he did not leave the AHA until the middle of the 1932-33 season, when he was accquired by the Detroit Red Wings. After that rather unusual season Williams played mostly in the minor pros until he retired in 1941.
