The Span Laser is seen only in the Spartan II Laser. This system allows the barrel of the equipped weapon to absorb some of the intense heat from the laser charging sequence, offering additional ventilation via a complex ventilation system integrated into the weapon. The tiny channelers on the tip of the barrel of the Laser allows the beam generated to be larger than the barrel itself. The Habilis Ferurudis assisted considerably by providing incredibly durable metals with which to make crucial parts of the Spartan II Laser.
