Sunmaidens are rare undead that haunt the day instead of the night, often appearing in secluded fields where natural beauty permeates. They roughly have the same size and shape as human women, although their bodies are vaguely transparant and luminous, with the beginnings of decay showing on the edges of their face. Occasionally, sunmaidens who maintain an unusually strong connection to the living world do not yet know that they have passed on, and often linger near the sunlit fields where they have breathed their last in life, appearing only by day and disappearing by night. As such, Sunmaidens advanced to 10 HD or more will return to haunt after being 'slain' the day after. To excise these forlorn entities from their haunts forever, they must realize their state and be convinced to pass
