The annual EU-U.S. Information Society Dialogue (ISD) ensures the coordination of an on-going working relationship between the U.S. government and the EU on important communication and information policy issues. The ISD provides: * an information exchange on, inter alia, regulatory and policy developments, third country markets and international fora; * an early warning mechanism on policy or regulatory divergence, helping to avoid or overcome potential disputes.
