Since his return, Duke Taubert based himself at Grasgar Castle on the edge of the Forest of Arden. The Dukes have used this castle as a hunting lodge for generations, but Duke Taubert has been expanding it and using it as a base for expeditions deep into the forest. He says his aim is to defeat the Beastmen, but many think he just wants to be as far from the sea as possible.[1a]
