Fukugi Takagi (鷹疑拭く義 Takagi Fukugi, lit: Wiped Morality of a Hawk's Doubt) is a shinigami of immense power and skill. He is a member of the near extinct Fusō Clan and is of the Takagi line that has branched out from the original clan. Currently partnered with Dōkeshi Fujiwara and Eri Fujiwara, he is the last scion of his branch of the clan. Abnormally; Fukugi is incapable of crafting puppets, no matter how much he attempts to, he is unable to do so. As a result of this, he is masterful in the art of Hitokugutsu, and has been given the two Human Puppets, Hiro Fusō and Chisetsu Fusō by his cousin.
