When Ares and the other System Lords were losing their war against Ba'al, he came to reclaim one of his former worlds. SG-1 was on the planet at the time attempting to locate the Ancient Time Jumper. After discovering the Jumper, Lt. Colonel Samantha Carter was able to repair the engines and Brigadier General Jack O'Neill flew the Jumper into orbit. O'Neill was able to fire two Drone weapons before the Jumper ran out of weapons. The two drones managed to overloaded several key systems and the Ares' Ha'tak was swiftly destroyed.
