Desmond Maxwell is a Jamaican drug dealer. He spent time in federal prison in Atlanta with Nugart Neville Lamont, who first claimed not to know Maxwell but admitted they knew each other. Described by Lamont as a "stone cold killer", he arranges drug deals which are in reality rip-offs, then kill the buyers. There were eleven of these rip-offs before Crockett and Tubbs arrange for a deal with Maxwell at Lamont's place, which was nearly the twelfth rip off but for Crockett, Tubbs and the SWAT team who killed all the dealers, but Maxwell was not in the room.
