The Firestar-class space station was large and angular, being heavily armed. While it had not hangar space for starfighters, it did not need any—the 148 laser cannons and 60 concussion missile launchers could take care of enemy starfighters. The stations did possess some hangars, but they continuously were filled with a variety of transport ships both entering and leaving to supply the station. When necessary, the station could support 500 passengers.
