Not much is know about her early life, except that she is originally from Shreveport, Louisiana and, according to her accounts, led a past is filled with sin and small time crimes and misdemeanors. She states that she joined the force because she believes "Enforcing the law is my way of righting all my wrongs, cleaning up my karma. Also, they give good benefits."
