The Ferengi Attainment Ceremony was a ritual ceremony performed by young Ferengi males as the last step toward adulthood. Upon completion of the ceremony, and in accordance with the Ferengi Trade By-Laws, Ferengi males were required enter into business by purchasing an apprenticeship from a suitable role model.
