The Security Forces Command (Turkish: Güvenlik Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı) is the armed forces charged with ensuring security within the unrecognised Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The GKK should not be confused with the Turkish Military Forces in Northern Cyprus as the former is made up of local conscripts and the latter made of soldiers who are part of the mainland turkish armed forces.
