The Octave Stairway was a children's holodrama. It recounted the adventures of Brin who, along with his friends, sought to return to his home by ascending the fabled Octave Stairway. When Jyn Erso was a child, The Octave Stairway was her favorite bedtime holo, and she once drew a picture of Brin trying to get home, using her father's likeness to depict the hero.
