Green Creek Monastery housed a community of monks somewhere in the vicinity of Ape City. One of the chimpanzee monks, Brother Corvin, was known to Doctor Zaius, but was murdered and impersonated by a human mutant who then caused the destruction of the Moon and later infiltrated Ape City to cause further devastation.
