The Spice Siren was a Republic freighter that was active during the Clone Wars. In 21 BBY, the ship went missing in the Tatooine system in a suspected act of piracy. At the time, the ship was carrying munitions. Breakout Squad, led by Jedi Commander Nuru Kungurama, was sent to investigate. Years later, Biggs Darklighter and Luke Skywalker once shot down numerous, large womp rats from the safety of Bigg's speeder near the crashed Spice Siren in the Xelric Draw.
