Salbhai was a Bajoran woman who led the Salbhai resistance cell during the Occupation of Bajor. Salbhai and her fighters were killed when the Cardassians launched a large scale weapon bombardment of Rota Province with surface launched warheads. Eleven thousand Bajoran civilians were also killed in the massacre. Rota Province was left a desolate wasteland. (DS9 - Day of Honor novel: Armageddon Sky)
