The Saviant religion is one of the biggest remaining religions in the universe. Saviants believe that humility will lead to both bliss in this life and salvation in the afterlife. They reject bodily temptations and their leaders lead an ascetic lifestyle. Jorists, whose teachings encourage amassing wealth, are generally viewed as hedonists by Saviants. While many Saviants are moderate, non-practicing believers, some take their religion more seriously. Few even tend to extremism, like most members of the Saviant Front.
