The original cast included Maria Ylipää as Elphaba and Anna-Maija Tuokko as Glinda. Other cast members were Ursula Salo as Madame Morrible, Eero Saarinen as The Wizard, Tuukka Leppänen as Fiyero, Antti Lang as Boq, and Vuokko Hovatta as Nessarose. The Finnish version also included a kiss between Elphaba and Glinda in the final show.
