The Queen In Red is inspired by a line in a song by Blue Oyster Cult ("King In Yellow, Queen In Red") that John Tynes used as inspiration for a strand of his version of The Hastur Mythos. The line may have been inspired by The Red Queen. See also The Red Death and The Queen In Yellow.
