Joru was the leader of a bandit group who plagued the Spine of the World Mountains. In 1170 they kidnapped Yasuki Jinn-Kuen to get a ransom for his freedom. Unicorn forces led by Moto Jin-sahn tracked they down and destroyed the gang. Joru was killed by Jin-sahn in personal combat.
