Pokemon Purugly-Purugly were the first pokemon used by Neo-Galactic Grunts they were used first to attack Dia's Empoleon along with Platinum's Torterra. They are capable pokemon surviving a Critical hit Leaf Storm. However Dia's Empoleon managed to defeat them with a Hidden power. One of them knows Slash. Metang-Metang were the second pokemon used by the Neo-galactic grunts. They were seen attacking Dia's Magmortar along with Platinum's Drapion,however they were defeated in one hit by Magmortar's Fire Blast.
